After graduating from high school, I pursued my studies in art history at the University of Bari and graduated with a final thesis in History of Applied Arts entitled: "Gli apparati scenografici ed i costumi dei Balletti Russi di Sergej Djagilev" (The scenic apparatus and costumes of Sergej Djagilev's Russian Ballets).

The passion for the design and the craft manshift started in this period.

I then moved to Florence to complete my studies at the Palazzo Pitti Costume Gallery, where I attended a specialization course in Historical Costumes and Accessories Cataloging. This is where I had the chance to study with the best international costume historians, analyzing the original costumes of the Gallery and the related manufacturing processes.

My passion for costumes of all ages started at this time and once I started working in show business, I had the chance to nurture this passion and extend it to contemporary costumes as well.

In 2001 I started working as 2nd assistant Costume Designer and I soon became a 1st assistant. In the last 15 years, I have had the chance to work with artists such as Peter Greenaway, Tarsem Singh, Jonathan Glazer, Vicki Russell, Ami Goodheart, Trysha Bakker (just to name a few).

In 2009 I began working as a Costume Designer and Stylist, in theatrical productions, short films and movies.

I felt privileged to work as a costume designer and I loved every aspect of it: I like studying the script, trying to enter the characters mind, going deep to the heart of their culture and, together with directors and actors, make these characters believable and exciting.

In the last 9 years I've started my professional experience in set dressing. Earlier set dressing and props buyer and assistant, and lately set stylist and set decorator.

I poured all my experience as costume designer into the set dressing and This gave me the chance to expand it..

Since the beginning, I had the chance to work in small and international projects: contemporary, dystropic, era stories, with important and talented directors: George Clooney, Ron Howard, Michael Bay, Matthew Vaughn, Niccolò Ammaniti, Michael Mohan.

I love to search and choose forniture, fabrics, colors and props. To reshape a location or, better, to figure out how an empty space can became something completely different.

I love to take care of all the details, that give life to the dressing and make it believable.

It is the second side of the artistic creation of a movie, because Set decoration and costume department tell the same story about characters, and this is the way to have a more complete view of the product we offer to the public. This make me feel complete in an artistic way.

Both have the power of the team work, that is also a source of personal growth.

This is my personal challenge and is a little like reshaping the world in my own way!
